Reckless driving. A 27-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested for reckless driving, driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 percent, evading police, and driving with a suspended license. Montague Expressway and Pecten Court. 8:08 p.m.

Drunken driving. A 41-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Heath Street and Elm Avenue. 10:07 p.m.

Controlled substance. A 21-year-old male transient with an outstanding warrant was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and parole violation. West Capitol Avenue and Fallen Leaf Drive. 11:41 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 23

Contempt of court. A 46-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on contempt of court charges. Coelho and Roger streets. 11:47 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

Forgery. A 32-year-old San Jose man was arrested for possession of fake checks, check forgery, and parole violation. Main Street and West Calaveras Boulevard. 3:09 a.m.

Forgery. A 32-year-old San Jose woman was arrested for possession of fake checks, check forgery, possession of stolen property, parole violation, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. South Main and Carlo streets. 6:07 a.m.

Suspended license. A 44-year-old Tracy man with an outstanding warrant was arrested for driving with a suspended license, driving more than 70 miles per hour, providing no evidence of automobile insurance, and grand theft. Monte Villa Court and South Bascom Avenue, Campbell. 1:30 p.m.

Meth. A 42-year-old Tracy man was arrested for possession of methamphetamines. Monte Villa Court and South Bascom Avenue, Campbell. 1:30 p.m.

Meth. A 44-year-old Campbell man was arrested for possession of methamphetamines. Monte Villa Court and South Bascom Avenue, Campbell. 1:30 p.m.

Burglary. A 32-year-old Newark man was arrested for burglary. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 3:02 p.m.

Drunken driving. A 62-year-old San Jose man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of concentrated cannabis. Taylor Drive and Conway Street. 9:42 p.m.

Burglary. A 44-year-old Stockton woman was arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 4:37 p.m.

Public intoxication. A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested for being drunk in public. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 1:47 a.m.

Drunken driving. A 49-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested for drunken driving. North Hillview Drive and Horcajo Circle. 2:11 a.m.
