In this week's Great Escape, try cuisine from four different countries in one night--and Milpitas Patch has one lucky reader's FREE ticket!

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your 'tweens take tap on Wednesday evening.

However it works out, it’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much-deserved break, and make your life a little easier. Maybe a whole lot easier.

Time and Date: 7:00-9:45 p.m., March 23

Why: There are so many great restaurants in downtown San Jose, but who has the time and money to try them all? At the Dishcrawl San Jose event, for one low price, you can try four exotic restaurants and mingle with other local food lovers just like you!

Where: San Pedro Square in Downtown San Jose, a mere six-mile drive from Milpitas. This month, attendees will be able to sample food and drinks from the following restaurants:

Plus, enjoy a special visit from Li'l Puffs, a local gourmet marshmallow company!

What to expect: Dishcrawl events happen once a month, each time at a different location in the Bay Area. The starting point is a secret that will be e-mailed to you, once you reserve your spot. The crowd mingles while food and drinks are served, and the owner of each restaurant comes out to speak to the crowd about the culture of the cuisine they serve. Then, it's off to the next location!

For the March Dishcrawl, all regular reservations are gone, but Late Bird tickets are still available. Click here to reserve your tickets today!

Dishcrawl has offered one of our lucky readers a free ticket! The first person to email kmcbridereporting@gmail.com will receive a code to use for a free ticket to next Wednesday's event!

Don't wait, act now!
