Some surprises in March included the announced closures of Borders and Blockbusters and a big win for India in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. The Girl Scouts ended their cookie selling season, topping their goal of 30,000 boxes. Danny Lau was sworn in as the new school board member. And mixed martial arts champion Cung Le held a tournament at his gym in Milpitas, inviting his buddies from Strikeforce.
