Computer Tutoring Classes for Seniors

CLC, or Computer Language Club, was started by two juniors, Prvaal Bhatnagar and Palak Desai, at Independence High School. The club started with 4 officers and slowly grew to encompass over 30 members by the end of the year.

The club is truly influential in its role to initiate a computer tutoring program at the Milpitas Public Library. Through its selfless motives, CLC has played a significant role in lessening the gap between computers and elder members of our community. By addressing topics like Microsoft basics, email, and internet, it has proven that learning computer technology is bound by no age barrier, and is in fact helpful to any generation. The computer language club has truly been an inspiring force that has catalyzed the need of computer awareness in our society. Combining knowledge with positive and active actions, it has beautifully united many elements of our society.

CLC is now accepting any teen volunteer who would like to join this program.
