Firefighter/Paramedic Brian Bruce has been with the Milpitas Fire Department for over twelve years. He has long demonstrated a commitment not only to the organization but to community service above and beyond his call of duty. He has been Team Captain for the “Relay for Life” for the past six years. His passion and enthusiasm has greatly encouraged fellow department members to support such a worthy cause.
Brian has taken on additional duties as the lead CPR instructor for the department. In the dynamic world of emergency medicine, Brian readily passes on his rich knowledge in this field to his colleagues. His teaching style is a testament to his passion for emergency medical service and paramedicine. It is his desire that with this ongoing education, the service delivery to the Milpitas community will be improved.
Brian’s roles as a Firefighter/Paramedic and as Acting Engineer/Captain have proven over time that he is a competent, skilled and dedicated professional. In addition, Brian truly models the behavior of "servant leadership.” Brian is guided by three core believes: faith, family (including the Milpitas Fire Department family), and friends (including the Milpitas community that he serves).
