Imagine celebrating a 50 year career in Milpitas on Friday, November 22, 2013 on the same day as that famous anniversary in Dallas, Texas.
That's what His n' Hers Hair's stylist Beverly Freese remembered. She said she started her new job in Milpitas on the very day JFK died.
Tasty casseroles, salads, vegetable trays, desserts, cakes, and refreshments were provided for the occasion by customers, guests, and fellow employees for all to enjoy.
Beverly was the proud recipient of comemorative balloons, bouquets, cards, and more awarded to her!
Owner Aurora Ramirez said Beverly started out on that memorable day in Milpitas at Fiesta Beauty Salon on Dempsey Rd., when SaveMart was there. Later when the new His n' Hers opened there Beverly was hired. The salon relocated to Victorian Square on Calaveras Blvd. in 1979 according to Aurora.
His n' Hers Hair moved to their new location in Milpitas at 1215 S. Park Victoria Dr. over a year ago.
