Milpitas Rotary's Community Pumpkin Patch Helps Students

The Milpitas Rotary Club's Ninth Annual Community Pumpkin Patch will be open for business this Saturday, October 19 at 11 AM kicking off 11 days of Halloween horror and fun for local families and children.

Funds raised support scholarships and leadership camp for Milpitas High and Cal Hills High school students.

Conveniently located on E. Calaveras Boulevard near N. Park Victoria Drive behind the Shell Station in the school district and sports center parking lot, the patch is more than just a place to pick out a great pumpkin. The patch also features a giant slide, jump house, and a scary haunted maze. It's also a great place to snap a family photo - especially if you come in costume!

Local schools will be venturing out to the pumpkin patch for field trips to experience the Halloween fun. Contact Cynthia Rich at 408-439-0506.

In addition to Rotary Club members, Milpitas High School Rotary Interact Club members are volunteering to help out.

The patch opens Saturday, October 19 and will be open daily through Tuesday, Oct. 29. Hours of operation are 11 AM to 8:00 PM on weekends and 5-8 PM on weekdays.
