Where/When: 1000 Jacklin Rd. Ste. A, Milpitas, Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Why Go: A new yoga studio (at Thriving Life Care) has come to town, and to celebrate their grand opening, they will be offering free classes and refreshments on their first day. Sign-up for heavily discounted classes.

2. Meet the Brewers Festival
Where/When: 1267 S 7th St, San Jose, Saturday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: Twenty-one brewers, including Campbell Brewing, Los Gatos Brewing, and Tied House Brewery, form a food truck festival in this event with Patch as a media sponsor. Also enjoy upscale cuisine, music and a raffle.
Cost: $25; $5 for designated drivers

3. Mardi Gras Bike Party
Where/When: 200 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose, Friday 8 to 10 p.m.
Why Go: San Jose Bike Party is a unique South Bay experience that draws thousands of bicyclists out for a night of bicycling in San Jose and beyond. Each monthly ride features a different theme, starting location and route.

4. Milpitas Farmers Market
Where/When: India Community Center, 525 Los Coches St, Milpitas, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: Rain or shine (and luckily shine this weekend!), this festival brings Milpitans fresh fruit, vegetables, and tasty prepared meals!

5. Japantown Farmers Market
Where/When: Jackson Street between Sixth and Seventh Street, Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Why Go: Find a selection of fresh, and unique, produce such as sweet potatoes, kale and brussel sprouts on a stem. This Sunday, bring your used ink cartridges to be recycled!
