Milpitas Rotary Pumpkin Patch
When/Where: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and 5-8 p.m. weekdays, Milpitas Unified School District office parking lot, 1331 E. Calaveras Blvd.

What: This family friendly-patch, which started Thursday and runs till the end of October, includes a giant slide, jump houses, and a haunted maze. It also serves as a fundraiser to help send local students to leadership camp and support local scholastic scholarships.

Halloween Festival
When/Where: Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Main Street Montessori, 630 S. Main St.
What: This festival at Milpitas’ new Montessori school includes a jump house, pumpkin walk, face painting, games, prizes, and more for children ages two to six.
Cost: Free
Dog Adoption Showcase
When/Where: Saturday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Humane Society Silicon Valley, 901 Ames Ave
What: Pet and play with dogs of all sizes and breeds in person. Get "insider’s information" from foster parents who are currently taking care of them in their homes.

Milpitas Knights Fundraiser
When/Where: Saturday, all day, Milpitas Sports Center
What: Milpitas Knights football is looking to fundraise: if community members are able to fill the Goodwill truck they’re hosting at the Sports Center, then Goodwill will donate $1,500 to Milpitas Knights.

Milpitas Farmers’ Market
When/Where: Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., India Community Center, 525 Los Coches St, Milpitas
What: The Milpitas Farmers' Market features incredible fruits, vegetables and prepared foods every Sunday! The partnership and support of the India Community Center allows the farmers' market to operate and serve the Milpitas community.
