We have a category for almost everything (graduation, births, accomplishments, sports awards, volunteers needed, deaths etc.), so feel free to post an announcement for just about anything. Milpitas Patch wants to help connect you with our community.
Make sure you're a registered user on Milpitas Patch (all you need is a name and an email address) and you can upload your own announcements. Once logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Announce something to everyone" under the Contribute category.
In the announcement template, write a title. Select a category that best fits the announcement. Write a brief description. You can even add photos and video to accompany your announcement, and after posting, you can share the link with your friends and family.
It's that simple.
