Traffic is backed up at the intersection of Highway 237 West and Highway 101 North due to a large metal sheet in the third lane.
The sheet has been blocking the road since 1:42 p.m. At 2:07 p.m., a crew was assigned to remove it, according to California Highway Patrol.
They deemed the incident a traffic hazard and are actively working to clear the roadway.
