Summer Movie Titles for Free Showings in Milpitas

The city of Milpitas sponsors a summer movie series at the Barbara Lee Senior Center every other Thursday at 7 p.m.

The city of Milpitas Parks & Recreation Services kicks off its summer movie series starting June 30. Watch fun, family-themed flicks at the Barbara Lee Center auditorium every other Thursday at 7 p.m. Movie titles are subject to change without notice.

June 30 • Dr. Doolittle

Tag along with this quirky animal doctor as he and his friends travel the world in a giant pink snail! (Rated G)

July 14 • Disney's The Princess and the Frog.
In this animated movie, a New Orleans princess searches for true love while coming face-to face with a snooty
debutante, and ancient voodoo priestess and an evil doctor! (Rated G)

July 28 • Big
In this comedy, a 12 year old boy grows up overnight after making a wish on a fortune-telling machine. See how he makes it big in a Manhattan toy company. (Rated PG)

August 11 • Send Me No Flowers
See what happens after a hypochondriac overhears his doctor talk about another patient’s terminal diagnosis. Thinking it’s about him, he then sets out to find a replacement husband for his wife! (Not Rated, but family friendly)

There are adventures a-plenty at this British boys’ school when a group of adolescent students stage midnight raids in the school’s kitchen.
