Big Dog Vineyards Wine Tasting Weekend
When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Big Dog Vineyards, 4545 Felter Rd
What: Taste Chardonnay straight from the barrel at Milpitas’ own vineyard and winery. Just for this weekend, buy four bottles and get a fifth free. Soak in the sunny weather on the patio, and catch music by Scott Anderson on Sunday.

Humane Society Silicon Valley Walk ‘n Wag
When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Kelley Park & History Museum, 1650 Senter Road, San Jose
What: Come “woof it up” and join in the fun Walk-n-Wag, a 5K walk for dogs and their owners benefitting the adoptable animals at the Humane Society Silicon Valley. See dogs dressed in costume, dog agility demonstrations, vendor booths and participate in a dog raffle. Walk with your dog, family, friends or your co-workers.  Every step helps a pet!

Milpitas Farmers’ Market
When/Where: Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., India Community Center, 525 Los Coches St, Milpitas
What: The Milpitas Farmers' Market features incredible fruits, vegetables and prepared foods every Sunday! The partnership and support of the India Community Center allows the farmers' market to operate and serve the Milpitas community.

San Carlos Art and Wine Faire
When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Laurel Street and San Carlos Ave., San Carlos
What: One of the South Bay’s premiere festivals makes its 22nd return this weekend with over 250 artists, wine, live music and activities for the kiddies such as face painting and henna tattoos.

Japantown Farmers Market
When/Where: Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Jackson Street between Sixth and Seventh Street, San Jose
What: Find a selection of fresh, and unique, produce such as sweet potatoes, kale and brussel sprouts on a stem.
