'Harry Potter' Last-Minute Help Guide

Midnight shows are selling out in theaters. But here's where else you might go.

Ten years after its premiere, the cinematic debut of the last of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book series is hitting theaters at midnight.

Tickets are sold out Thursday night at Milpitas'  for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. But here's where else you can go.

South Bay
The Tech Museum is San Jose is a proponant of both physics experiments and Hogwarts. It will show two screenings of Harry Potter Thursday night at its Hackworth IMAX Theater. The midnight showing is sold out, both there are still tickets available for the 2:30 a.m. show, so act fast! Ticket holders for both events are invited to an opening celebration that begins at 10:30 p.m. 

Cinemark, also known as Century, is SOLD OUT at Century Cinema 16, CinéArts Santana Row 6, and Cinedome 7 NewPark Mall. 

Camera Cinemas, which has theaters in Campbell, Los Gatos and San Jose, has showings of Harry Potter in both 2-D and 3-D, beginning at a special premier at midnight tonight. Tickets are $12.75 for adults, $9.75 for children and seniors, and $10.50 for students. You can purchase tickets through their website

Several South Bay movie theaters, such as AMC Cupertino Square 16 and IMAX, offer special IMAX showings of the movie, stretching from midnight Thursday night on. To find the theater closest to you, look up your location in IMAX’s website here
