Photo Challenge: the answer revealed!

This week's mystery object is part of the main sewage dump station on N. McCarthy Boulevard.

We had some close guesses, but no winner this week in the "Where in Milpitas?" photo challenge.

This industrial-looking object is part of the main sewage dump station, operated by the City of Milpitas. It’s at 1425 N. McCarthy Blvd.

The station is next to a rest area along the Coyote Creek Trail North, a popular trail with pedestrians, joggers and bicyclists. The station is the larger of two sewer collection systems in the city (the second one is in the low-lying Pines neighborhood).

Thanks to everyone who posted a guess on this week’s Photo Challenge and check back next week for another one!
