Photo Challenge: The Answer Revealed!

This arch is visible to thousands of motorists and visitors to the McCarthy Ranch area.

Congratulations to Patch reader John, this week’s winner in the “Where in Milpitas?” photo challenge!

This mystery arch straddles a small landscaped parkway between McCarthy Boulevard and the Coyote Creek Trail North. It’s visible to motorists at the busy south entrance to McCarthy Ranch shopping center at 136 Ranch Drive.

Viewed from the south, a large sign installed on the arch reads, McCarthy Ranch.
