Photo Challenge: The answer revealed!

These colorful flower garlands welcome visitors to a popular Milpitas eatery.

We had a few close guesses, but no winner this week in the “Where in Milpitas?” photo challenge.

These beautiful flower garlands frame the entrance to at 458 Barber Lane, Milpitas. It is near the busy Highway 237-Interstate 880 interchange. The Sheraton San Jose Hotel, Cisco Systems and SanDisk Corp. are also nearby.

In many Indian and Asian cultures, flower garlands like these are placed in the entryways of homes and businesses to reflect the abundance of nature and attract good luck. Flowers and leaves commonly used in these garlands include musk roses, carnations and mango leaves.
