Congratulations to Patch reader , the winner of this week’s “Where in Milpitas?” photo challenge!
The well-worn structure is part of the chimney at the historic José Higuera Adobe House at Higuera Adobe Park on Wessex Place off North Park Victoria Drive.
The 700-foot house was built circa 1831 on the old Rancho Los Tularcitos property. Today it is part of a city-owned 5.5-acre park that includes barbecue pits, picnic tables and a grassy play area. The house is open to the public and includes a display of historic photographs and artifacts.
Thanks to everyone who posted a guess on this week’s Photo Challenge and check back next week for another one!
