Photo Challenge: Where in Milpitas?

Test your knowledge of Milpitas by guessing what the structure in this photo is.

This sturdy-looking building looks like it might have been inspired by the mysterious monolith in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.

But it’s not from some far-off intergalactic world - its right here in Milpitas.

Built in 1987, it’s one of the most visible structures in the city.  Its modern concrete and glass architectural style is a nod to Silicon Valley and its high-tech industries. And, at more than 143 feet high, it is the tallest building in Milpitas.
