Looking up at this structure, it seems like a very tall tower pointing skyward. What appears to be a solid base holds the rest of the structure up as decorative lines come together to form a clean point at the top.
But, wait! Where are the windows? Is this a tower at all? Maybe it’s a children’s slide in one of the city parks. Or perhaps it’s just a large dumpster with the lid propped open. The answer, of course, depends on how the object is viewed and from what angle.
We can offer a couple of hints, though. This structure is located on a busy street near the edge of town and is large enough to be seen by thousands of motorists and pedestrians who pass by it every day. A good number of people stop and visit it every day, too.
Do you know where in Milpitas this structure is located and what purpose it serves? Post your guess in the comments area below.
If you’re the first person with the complete correct answer, you will win a $10 gift card to a local business. And, more importantly, you can claim bragging rights that you’re this week’s expert in Milpitas trivia.
