Halloween Costume Exchange
When/Where: Sunday, Christ Community Church, 1000 S Park Victoria Dr, Milpitas
What: Don’t want any (literal) skeletons in your closet? Donate your leftover Oct. 31 costume to Christ Community Church in Milpitas during any Sunday in November. They will be given out for free next year.

Winchester Mystery House ‘Fright Nights’
When/Where: Friday and Saturday, 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. 525 S Winchester Blvd, San Jose
What: The house that never stopped being built will creep out environs roving spirits, a haunted maze and other spooky surprises.

Dog Adoption Showcase
When/Where: Saturday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Humane Society Silicon Valley, 901 Ames Ave
What: Pet and play with dogs of all sizes and breeds in person. Get "insider’s information" from foster parents who are currently taking care of them in their homes.

Milpitas Farmers’ Market
When/Where: Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., India Community Center, 525 Los Coches St, Milpitas
What: The Milpitas Farmers' Market features incredible fruits, vegetables and prepared foods every Sunday! The partnership and support of the India Community Center allows the farmers' market to operate and serve the Milpitas community.
