CBS SF's 'Eye on the Bay' Comes to Milpitas

CBS SF's Thuy Vu came to Milpitas to interview The WOW crew for an "Eye on the Bay" TV segment on South Bay food trucks. Food, friends, famous faces, and funky beats. That's how we roll at lunchtime.

It was only a year ago that I first got hooked on gourmet food truck fare. Back then, the mobile food movement was still kind of underground in the South Bay, but since then, it has grown tremendously, and mainstream media is increasingly taking notice.

On Tuesday, May 17, CBS San Francisco's "Eye on the Bay" lifestyle television show traveled to to tape a segment about . I saw the tweet and headed right over. A guy's gotta eat, right?

I'm glad I did. Just as I finished my delicious chicken silog, the camera crew showed up along with the host, Thuy Vu. I enjoyed chatting with her for a bit. She was fun, friendly, and very gracious with us cellphone paparazzi. She asked what I liked about this truck, and my answer was the food, the people, and, of course, the bangin' DJ station in the back, which turns every stop into an instant party.

I stuck around for the taping and may even have been caught on camera dancing with my dessert. I'm not sure when the segment will air, but when it does, I'll post an update.
