A car donation is an easy and painless way to give generously to save animals’ lives here in our community - without having to dig deep into your pockets. And because we’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you get a tax deduction on the full sales price of your car.

Did you know that, on average, it costs Humane Society Silicon Valley $350 to rescue (or take in) a healthy animal and care for it until it gets adopted? And you can imagine it costs many times more than that for animals that come in with medical or behavioral issues.
Well, guess what? The average car donation value is about $1,000 - so that’s typically three lives saved, just by donating your car!

Even if your car is very old and needs work, or doesn’t run at all, we’ll take it because we can either fix it to sell, or sell it for parts - and that money goes a long way toward helping us feed and care for our sweet animals here.
You can call 888-500-1555 and say you want to donate your car to Humane Society Silicon Valley, or fill out the online donation form, and they can pick up your car as quickly as the next day.
After your car sells, we will send you a thank-you letter acknowledging the sales price, which you can use for your tax records.
