Hangar 24 will be available throughout the Bay Area, including Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa. San Mateo, San Francisco, San Mateo, Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma and Marin counties, brewery representatives said.
Initial release in the Bay Area will include Hangar 24's Orange Wheat, Alt-Bier Ale, Chocolate Porter and Double IPA, along with its seasonal offerings and Local Fields series.
"The Bay Area marks the Southern California craft brewery's largest single distribution expansion with plans to roll out in additional markets throughout 2013," Hangar 24 representatives said in their announcement Jan. 3.
Along with distribution expansion, the craft brewery plans to sponsor 2013 SF Beer Week, Feb. 8 to Feb. 17 at multiple locations in San Francisco, Hangar 24 representatives said.
"We pride ourselves in creating a craft beer that uses ingredients grown close to the brewery," Hangar 24 Craft Brewery's founder and master brewer Ben Cook said. "The Bay Area is our single largest expansion to date and we look forward to serving this culinary rich market and social drinking scene."
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery is at 1710 Sessums Drive across from Redlands Municipal Airport, about 65 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
