Milpitas Yogurtland To Give Away Free Cups on Monday

The store will participate in the national Frozen Yogurt Day, and raise money for the nonprofit First Book.

Calling all those with a sweet tooth: Yogurtland in Milpitas is partaking in the Second Annual Frozen Yogurt Day, and divvying out freebies to its fans on Monday, Feb. 4.

From 4 to 7 p.m., Yogurtland will distribute free yogurt and toppings, according to spokeswoman Barbara Caruso. Guests will receive a commemorative cup and spoon, and can choose between 16 flavors and an array of toppings such as peanut butter cups and chocolate chips.


Last year on National Frozen Yogurt Day, Yogurtland served more than 1.2 million free cups of yogurt.

Customers are invited to extend the generosity, said Caruso. Through Yogurtland Cares, the company’s initiative to empower youth, Yogurtland is also supporting First Book, a national education non-profit that provides new, high quality books and resources to kids in need. 

Yogurtland Cares will match donations in an effort to raise $20,000 to provide more than 8,000 new books to kids across the country. From Feb. 1 – Feb. 10, Yogurtland will match donations made athttp://cares.yogurt-land.com.
