New Milpitas Baskin-Robbins Opens in Foothill Square

City officials and ice cream lovers attend grand opening ribbon cutting celebration.

What will it be? Vanilla? Chocolate? Rocky Road? Orange Sherbet? Cookies n' Cream?

Milpitas City officials, Chamber of Commerce officers, ice cream lovers, family members, and neighbors were on hand Tuesday to savor their favorite ice cream flavors at the new Milpitas Baskin-Robbins store at 357 Jacklin Road in Foothill Square.

Mayor Jose Esteves wielded the giant official ribbon cutting scissiors assisted by Councilman Armando Gomez, Chamber President Richard Li, Chamber CEO Carol Kassab, Chamber CFO Tom Valore, owner Mahmood Hassan, and guests.

All were treated to various samples of delicious ice cream. Sundaes, shakes, malts, banana splits, smoothies, and more are served here.

Franchise owner Hassan said he operates three other Baskin-Robbins stores in San Jose on McKee Road, White Road, and Cropley Avenue.

He announced his Grand Opening Party on Saturday, September 17, from noon to 5 pm at all four of his stores. Baskin-Robbins corporate officials have been invited to attend.
