Party at Milpitas Big Lots Every Wednesday

The Milpitas Chamber of Commerce and Food Truck Mafia have organized an evening of entertainment for locals.

The Big Lot’s parking lot may not seem like party central, but on Wednesdays it’s transformed into a hoppin’ hangout featuring music, entertainment and a culinary spread of ethnic dishes delivered on wheels.

The  and a food truck business called Food Truck Mafia have been throwing such soirees at the Big Lots on 200 Serra Wy. for the last few months, according to DJ Aaron Dalugdug of ImageSource Entertainment, which coordinates the music.

“It’s really just about trying to bring the community together and bringing all the businesses together,” Dalugdug said.

The food trucks are brought in by Food Truck Mafia, which also coordinates events in Union City and Fremont.
