Shoppers filled the in Milpitas late Thanksgiving night and in the wee hours of Friday morning to get the best deals.
All week leading up to Black Friday, the Great Mall advertised it would open at midnight on Thanksgiving night, with deals and special steals at many stores such as , , , , , Game Stop, and more.
Firefighters and police were on standby as shoppers went about their business, to ensure safety and order. Within the mall, police could be seen patrolling on foot and on bicycle.
