Position: Technical Service Engineer – Energy Efficient Materials

• Location: Milpitas
• Duties: Assist sales team with cost estimates based on rough design during quotation phase
• Work closely with contractors to help with preparation of final design documentation
• Assess and document existing conditions prior to installations
• Coordinate with tradespeople (electricians, glaziers, etc) on job sites
• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, test and calibrate electronic components for window control systems
• Respond to customer service calls
• Maintains appropriate service and repair records
• Aptitude and willingness to work technical support issues to resolution
• Qualifications: Four years journeyman experience working as a Technician or Field Engineer for
  HVAC, Lighting Controls, or other building automation system
• Read and comprehend plans and blueprints as appropriate to trade
• Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting
  equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
• Detail-oriented, accurate and ability to multi-task
• High school diploma required; Prefer Associates Degree or completion of Union, private, military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on-the-job work

Soladigm

Position: Purchasing Specialist (full time)

• Location: Milpitas
• Duties: Work with operations/manufacturing to identify qualified suppliers and drive continuous quality improvement
• Support/lead a strategic sourcing approval process
• Identify and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities
• Review requisitions and negotiate, evaluate and issue purchase orders
• Expedite orders to meet production schedules
• Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships; point of contact for all supplier commercial issues
• Other duties as assigned
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
• 3-5 years purchasing background in manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, with various teams including engineers and supply chain personnel
• Oracle or similar tier 1 ERP system
• Compensation: Competitive, depending on experience
