Why We Love Milpitas' Lee's Sandwiches

This week, we caught up with Maurice Leibenstein and Jason Edge, escaping the office to grab a couple of their favorite sandwiches from in the SaveMart shopping center.

PATCH: Do you two work near here? Is this your lunch break?

EDGE: Yes, we work over at Blue Snap on Dixon Landing.

LEIBENSTEIN: It's an e-commerce company. Blue Snap is our new name, we used to be called Plimus.

PATCH: Do you guys have lunch at Lee's a lot?

EDGE: Probably about once a month. Sometimes, we get big bags full of sandwiches and take them back to the office. But today, we just wanted to have a relaxing Friday afternoon lunch, on the down-low.

PATCH: What are some of your favorite items on the menu?

EDGE: Definitely this, the Barbecued Pork (pointing to his sandwich). I get it every time I come here. I love the bread - that's why I keep coming back, I just love the fresh bread.

LEIBENSTEIN: I really like the regular pork sandwich, that's what I'm eating today.

PATCH: So, what do you two do for Blue Snap?

EDGE: I work in finance.

LEIBENSTEIN: I'm a lawyer.
