Canine friends are hoping to meet you

Humane Society Silicon Valley hopes to connect dogs with new owners at its upcoming Dog Adoption Showcase

South Bay dog-lovers, or those who are just curious about them, should mark their calendars for Saturday, June 16.

That’s the date the Humane Society Silicon Valley will hold its next Dog Adoption Showcase.

Those attending the showcase will have a chance to meet, pet and play with dogs of all sizes and breeds.  Volunteers who are taking care of the dogs in their own homes will also be available to share “insider’s information” about particular dogs.

The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at the HSSV campus in Milpitas at 901 Ames Ave. The state-of-the-art facility includes a dog park, a pet store and a veterinary clinic. HSSV staff members also will be on hand to answer questions about pet adoption procedures and fees.

Admission is free.  For details, call 408-262-2133, extension 150, or visit the HSSV website at www.hssv.org.

Such a cute little dog. I'll be going to the showcase and hope to meet many new furry friends!
