A driver crashed a car into a Starbucks coffee shop just off of Interstate Highway 680 in Milpitas this morning but no one was injured, according to an employee at the business.
"It went through the front door," said the employee, who declined to be identified.
The driver collided at about 7:20 a.m. with the Starbucks' storefront at 1197 Calaveras Blvd., located between Highway 680 and North Park Victoria Drive, the employee said.

The car lodged in the front door area but authorities have since removed it, the employee said.
Patrons in the store at the time of the accident were not hurt and neither was the driver, the employee said.

Police were not immediately available to provide more information about the crash.
