Four Earthquakes Shake Near Milpitas in 5 Days

Did you feel any of the earthquakes?

Four small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale near Milpitas over the last week, with the largest measured at just 1.8 10 miles north of Morgan Hill.

A 1.4 quake hit just seven miles of Milpitas on Feb. 4 at 10:04 p.m.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Monday afternoon, no one reported feeling any of the earthquakes on the Geological Survey website.
