Milpitas High sports teams end their seasons at CCS playoffs, a science team makes it to the state championships, crab feed and more.

Many surprises were in store for Milpitas students and adults, particularly in the school district, in February. The Trojans will now represent Milpitas at a state high school science competition in April.

At the same time, several Milpitas High sports teams ended their seasons this week, including boys soccer, as well as boys and girls basketball at Central Coast Sections playoffs.

School board member Mike Mendizabal resigned after 12 years of service. A few weeks later, Superintendent Karl Black that he planned to retire and his last day would be July 1.
