Milpitas Police arrested a San Jose man on Monday after he climbed over a fence at Safeway Services and was caught trying to steal things.
Officers responded to the business' alarm at 11:47 p.m. on the 200 block of Houret Drive, according to police reports. They found Otis Hart, 59, of San Jose in a fenced area behind the business. He was arrested after he tried to flee over a barbed-wire fence carrying items belonging to Safeway.
Hart was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for prowling, theft and trespassing, according to police.
