Readers' Choice: Best Filipino Eatery

You decide: what's the best Filipino restaurant or cafe in Milpitas?

Many California cities don’t even have one Filipino restaurant, yet alone several. But diverse Milpitas falls into the latter category, bringing locals several traditional dishes from the Philippines, a Southeast Asian country comprised of over 7,000 islands.

Maybe you’re a fan of the Pancit Malabon (thick rice noodles topped with seafood and pork) at You might prefer the hearty Kare-Kare (peanut stew with oxtail, eggplant and bok choy) at or the Tapa and Egg Pan de Sol at

Our Readers' Choice poll this week hopes your votes will help us find the best Filipino eatery in town -- one with food so tasty you feel like you’re in Manila rather than Milpitas.

Voting is open until 9 a.m. Friday with the winner announced at noon and the lucky pick receiving a "Readers' Choice 2012" certificate.

Please rate the businesses below on their Patch Places listings and leave a review.
