Painting Continues Tonight for SR 237 Express Lanes

Drivers should watch for lane closures, road crews.

Striping was to begin Wednesday evening for new express lanes on the interchange at State Route 237 and Interstate 880.

The painting is scheduled between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. and drivers should watch for lane closures and road crews. Work should finish by Monday morning rush hour, according to the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.

The new, solid double white lines will replace the dotted lines that previously marked carpool lanes on 237. Read more about the project in our stories below.
