Three Fun Contests for Milpitas Kids

Children can win cash prizes, a pair of skates or a trophy in these local and educational contests. But hurry to make these March deadlines.

Your kids are adorable, and talented, too. Can they write creative essays and create works of art to compete for cash prizes and trophies?

The Milpitas Public Library, in recognition of National Library Week, April 10-16, will have an essay writing contest.

The India Community Center has a kids' art contest open to the public that engages them to learn about India through images.

Cal Skate of Milpitas also has a writing contest in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday (Wednesday). Kids who are too young to write can submit their best Seuss-style drawing on skating. Win a pair of skates!

Best of all, we'll feature the winners on Milpitas Patch.
