Stanford Blood Center is experiencing a critical need for O negative blood. With hospital inventory currently at critical levels, your help is needed to ensure that blood products are available to patients in need. Current patients receiving multiple O negative units include a pregnant female experiencing delivery complications, and two pediatric patients, both with needing ongoing O negative transfusions due to multi organ complications.
In addition to a critical need for O negative blood, we have an ongoing need for all other blood types as well.
We're reaching out to all those able to help and asking that you carve out a bit of time to give blood so we can make sure to meet the needs of patients and hospitals.
