Milpitas Cool Cities Team is a part of the Loma Prieta chapter in the Sierra Club.
We meet once a month to Milpitas-related issues on the environment, development, climate change and more.
We will talk about the Milpitas Climate Action Plan, the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Commission, Plastic Bag Ban, local developments in town and more.
Our goals are: to promote smart-growth around transit and urban areas, to adopt a city-wide ban on single-use plastic bags and polystyrene.
