Community Center Breaks Through Myths About Muslim Women

The community is invited to participate in an interactive discussion on the reality of living life as a Muslim woman.  Often portrayed as submissive, abused and discriminated against, this symposium will explore the conjectures and truths of how women are treated according to Islam with respect to Hijab (veil), arranged marriages, polygamy and the Holy Prophet’s (peace be on him) treatment of women. Event details are as follows.

Please note that this event is open to women attendees only.
