Getting the most out of your staff, suppliers, vendors and employees can make or break a business.  Learning to be an effective manager can make your job easier and more fulfilling.  Our management skills training seminar will introduce the skills you need to succeed.

During this business seminar, our SCORE advisor will discuss the essential information needed for you to become better at managing people – even if you have no one working for you.  In your day to day efforts, whether you are a business owner or an employee in a leadership position, your effectiveness in your position is measured in how well your job is done.  There are many interpersonal as well as legal issues involved in managing people and this interactive business class will guide you through best practices of personnel management.

Learn Legal Issues in Managing People

This business class also provides information on the legal issues concerning employment that every business owner must know.  In addition there will be an in-depth discussion and examples on how to hire employees who will be an asset to your company and how to manage them for best results.  We will also discuss the necessary steps to fire employees, and be properly prepared for any repercussions.

Setting Management Objectives, Plans and Goals

The seminar will show how to set objectives and expectations for you and your staff that support your business plan goals.  Learn how to create an atmosphere that fosters strong and loyal employees.
