Grant Workshop hosted by the office of Congressman Mike Honda

The workshop will inform area residents, including local businesses, community organizations, and public agencies, about federal and private grant opportunities.
Attendees will learn about:

  • Federal grant opportunities and www.Grants.gov, the portal to learning about, and applying for, specific federal grant funding.
  • Local and private grant funding opportunities.
  • Components of a successful grant application, what grantors look for, and what happens after a grant is awarded.
  • Small Business Administration (SBA) programs
In attendance will be Congressman Honda’s staff, the Small Business Administration, Department of Health and Human Services, United Way Silicon Valley, Asian Americans for Community Involvement
