Poetry Out Loud! Poetry Recitation Contest for All Ages at Milpitas Library

Join us at Milpitas Library for Poetry Out Loud: Poetry Recitation Contest for all Ages. Recite a poem by a traditional or contemporary poet (up to 3 minutes—bring a copy of the poem you are reciting. David Perez, Santa Clara County Poet Laureate, will be hosting the program.

  • $25 award for 1st place winner
  • Cash awards for 2nd & 3rd place 
  • Plus other awards & FOOD
Open to all ages of performers & listeners. Sign-ups start at 5:45 pm at the Milpitas Library's Auditorium door.
