As we get closer to the tenth anniversary of 9/11, some faith communities are doing something special to mark this day – hosting a blood drive.
As part of a national campaign to collect 10,000 pints and save 30,000 lives (each pint can save three lives), the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is hosting a blood drive at the Baitul Baseer Mosque in Milpitas.
While slots for the Sept. 4 drive are nearly full, you can still donate on another day (at another location). Register under CODERED and Muslims for Life will receive credit for your donation.
