Blood Drive - Pint for a Pint

The Stanford Blood Center will be at the Milpitas Public Library on Saturday, July 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each donor will receive a complimentary coupon for a Baskin-Robbins pint of ice cream and a movie ticket, courtesy of LifeScan.

Blood donors must:

• Be at least 17 years old
• Weigh at least 110 pounds
• Be free of cold and flu symptoms (allergies OK)
• Eat before donating and drink plenty of fluids
• Bring photo ID

Blood donors will be deferred if you:

• Stayed in the U.K. for a cumulative time of three months or more between 1980-1996
• Spent five years or more since 1980 in specified European countries
• Traveled for one year, within the last 12 months, to India, certain parts of Mexico, China, Africa, Central and South America, the Caribbean or the Philippines
