City of Fremont's Tri-City Animal Shelter is promoting adoption of Chihuahuas the first week of May. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Saturday doors are open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Reduced adoption costs for Chihuahuas and mixes will be available to the public. Visit PetHarbor to see animals available for adoption.
In addition, on Thursday, May 5, the shelter offers free spay or neuter for Chihuahuas whose owners live in Fremont. It will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Call to make an appointment.
