Humane Society Silicon Valley 8th Annual Fur Ball Fundraiser

“Carnival of the Animals” is this year’s theme for The Fur Ball, Humane Society Silicon Valley’s annual black-tie fundraiser. The Venetian masked ball will be held Saturday, April 30th, from 6:00 – 11:00 pm at California’s Great America.

The Fur Ball is an elegant evening where guests attend with animal companions and sample wine from more than a dozen fine wineries, or indulge in a marvelous “Mutt-ini” at the ever-popular Martini Luge, and feast on scrumptious hors d’oeuvres.

Guests will savor a magnificent sit-down dinner from Maggiano’s Little Italy, and savor sumptuous sorbets from Silver Moon Desserts and dreamed-about decadent chocolate delights from La Fondue. Gary Scott Thomas, popular 95.3 KRTY radio personality, will bring his exuberant humor to The Fur Ball as Master of Ceremonies.

The “Carnival of Animals” combines the festive spirit of Italy’s “Carnevale” and the magic of the human-animal connection. HSSV President Carol Novello says guests will see that connection come to life in a short film highlighting HSSV’s lifesaving work with medically challenged animals and their inspiring recoveries.

Tickets are $250 per person, standard tables of ten are $2,500, and Top Dog VIP tables of ten are $5,000. Advance reservations only. For ticket information, or to make a donation, call408.262-2133 ext. 131. For more information, visit: www.hssv.org/TheFurBall.
