Volunteer Orientations for The Reading Program
You can share your knowledge and make a difference in your community by becoming a volunteer tutor for The Reading Program of the Santa Clara County Library. This program offers one-on-one tutoring as a free service to adults who struggle in their personal and professional lives due to a lack of literacy skills. As a member of our trained volunteer tutor staff, you will spend two hours per week helping an English-speaking adult improve in reading and writing.
