Volunteer Orientations for The Reading Program

You can share your knowledge and make a difference in your community by becoming a volunteer tutor for The Reading Program of the Santa Clara County Library. This program offers one-on-one tutoring as a free service to adults who struggle in their personal and professional lives due to a lack of literacy skills. As a member of our trained volunteer tutor staff, you will spend two hours per week helping an English-speaking adult improve in reading and writing. Call (408) 262-1349 to register for one of our upcoming tutor orientation sessions and find out how you can begin to make a difference by giving the gift of literacy.

Thursday, February 16th           2:00 – 3:00 p.m.           Held in the Auditorium at Milpitas Library, 160 N. Main Street, Milpitas, CA
