New Milpitas Neighborhood Takes Root

City officials and local dignitaries marked the completion of the latest construction phase of the new Sundrop Circle neighborhood in a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony.

 

Officials from The Milpitas Chamber of Commerce, the City of Milpitas, and Robson Homes celebrated the new Sundrop Circle neighborhood with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, August 30 at 11:30 am.  

Mayor Jose Esteves, Vice Mayor Pete McHugh, and Councilmember Armando Gomez were on hand for the event with Mark Robson of Robson Homes, Milpitas Chamber CEO Carol Kassab and other officials.

Members of the St. Germain family, owners of the highly revered Cal Skate rink, which had to be demolished for the housing project, joined in the celebration.

Guests were treated to open house tours of the model homes and lunch from gourmet food trucks. Construction workers enjoyed lunch with the celebrants.
